I have been involved in the Spill Response Industry since 1994. This time has provided me with a wide range of opportunities to work in various industries and learn what it takes to protect the environment and staff from spills.

Since 1994 some of the projects I have been involved with include;

• Supplying NZ Power Companies with Wheely Bin Kits for sub-stations ( transformer oil )
• Supplying Transpower with Spill Kits for every sub-station in NZ in their care
• Outfitting nearly every Service Station in New Zealand with a 240 Litre Wheely Bin Kit
• Supplying Maritime New Zealand with $1.5 million worth of inflatable boom and support equipment
• Helping many NZ companies meet their RMA requirements

Through all this time, the number one sorbent product on the NZ market has been MATASORB. It's superior construction, strength, low linting and competitive pricing along with it's distinctive Blue colour has made MATASORB New Zealand's number-one seller.

In 2010, the opportunity arose to become a New Zealand distributor of MATASORB and it's associated products. So Spill Stop Ltd was created to ensure New Zealanders continue to have access to the MATASORB and Spilfyter ranges.
